THE MOSQUE IN MORGANTOWN to air on Comcast/Xfinity

THE MOSQUE IN MORGANTOWN will be available for viewing on Comcast/Xfinity during the month of September.  It was produced and directed by independent filmmaker Brittany Huckabee.

THE MOSQUE IN MORGANTOWN follows what happens when Muslim feminist and journalist Asra Nomani campaigns for change in her small-town West Virginia mosque. In a time of increased scrutiny of what happens inside American mosques, this award-winning documentary provides an up-close and unflinching glimpse inside one Muslim community.

Check out the Comcast website for an interview with Brittany Huckabee by Cinema Asian America’s Chi-hui Yang about the film and the mosque as a charged symbolic space after 9/11.

To watch, go to On Demand >> Movies >> Movie Collections >> Cinema Asian America >> After September 11. This is a pay-per-view offering. (See where Comcast is available.)
