- Free US Military video at Defense Video & Imagery Distribution System
- The NewsMarket calls itself “the media’s online source for free video.” It does seem to have a lot to offer.
- GeoEye 2009 Corporate Broll – a lot of satellite imaging.
- George Washington University has free downloadable b-roll of various happenings on campus.
- National Cancer Institute has free downloadable b-roll of medical scenes.
- Washington University in St. Louis has free downloadable HD footage of its campus and the medical school.
